CanCeLLATIONs

Cancellations must be made more than 24 hours prior to your appointment time. If you miss your scheduled therapy appointment, without notice at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the cost of your scheduled session.  This is not covered by your insurance.

Does insurance cover couples counseling?

Insurance coverage varies and is specific to your policy. However, insurance will generally cover issues that are considered "medically necessary." In short, this means a person's current symptoms (such as anxiety) fit a specific diagnosis, and the purpose of that therapy is to address that condition. If at least one member of the couple has a diagnosis and if couples therapy will be a part of treating this issue, then couples counseling will likely be covered by insurance.
